| My girl keeps re-opening her cut to the quick nail This is really annoying, I cut the tiniest bit off one of her nails, but should have left it alone because it was already quite short and I did not notice. Yes - she has a cylindrical collar we can use. I hate using it, and am afraid of leaving her with it on because I don't want it to bother her and dig into her neck. It does stop bleeding after a short time now, but she is a bit neurotic and wont stop licking and biting it so it opens up again if I don’t watch her all the time with the collar off. Her collar freaks out our male dog, too. Because it knocks into him when they play so now he barks at her. Any advice? Corn starch is not the answer. |

| What about wrapping her paw with pet wrap? Putting a baby sock on it?

| Or what about those soft claw things? I wonder if you could just put a cap over the one nail and if she'd leave it alone?

| Did you try Styptic Powder. You can get it at any pet store. It is a clotting compound. I've even used it on ears that have gotten nicked. |
