| Metoclopramide for anti nausea?? What do ya'll know about metoclopramide for anti nausea? That's one of the things that Tatum's vet gave us today. When I was reading up on pancreatis (no, vet says she does not have this) and other bloody diarrhea issues this morning, I ran across a negative post about some medicine that I thought started with an "m" and now I can't find it back. Please, anybody with experience with this med? I really don't want to give it to her until I put this question out there! Normally, I totally trust my vet but because of what I thought I might have read this morning, now I'm questioning it.

| This is what Gracie and Katie's vet gives for anti nausea. Ours is also mixed with Albon(30ml) It's also known as (Reglan) That's all I really know. Sorry I can't help you out.

| my dex took this and metronidazole when he had pancreatitis along with famotidine, and sulcrulfate -- we almost lost him to pancreatitis - he had a plasma transfusion which saved his life so those meds are all safe |

| Good! Thanks so much. I was going to respond to your other post but wanted to see if you posted on this thread first. The vet really doesn't think it's pancreatitis but like I said in the other thread, he is reserving the more expensive tests for if she doesn't get better on these meds.

| Great! It just kinda freaked me out because I remembered reading something about a medicine that was bad yesterday morning and couldn't find it back. I told you on my other thread that Tatum is getting Albon and a probiotic and this anti nausea (this one for a couple days only) and is already SO much better.
