| Is this from teething? OK.....I have a problem. I know this might sound silly. Here it goes: My lil lady threw up today(only once).....she just seems awfully tired. She has been fine all day long today (running around and playing; etc.). I am just concerned with what is going on with her right now . I have been holding her and she seems awfully tired . Also, I know this sounds silly but could this be from "teething"? I don't remember my lil chihuahua doing this . Please help me!

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Hmmm, well the only way I can relate the two things is if the pain is *so* bad that it made her feel sick to her tummy. You how sometimes a headache (or whichever pain) is sometimes SO bad that you feel nauseous? It could be like that, but I just kind of doubt it's from teething. Could she have gotten into anything?

| We watch her like a lil hawk around here.....she is the "baby". So, no I don't think so....she doesn't even go on potty breaks alone. Also, I did notice she did have a low grade temp a lil while ago. I spoke to someone earlier about this as well. She did eat a lil more.....I have given her some cold ice chips....and her gums are nice and pink (don't look white at all). So, maybe it was just something that didn't settle on her lil tummy too well with the fever?

Senior Yorkie Talker | What's the color of the liquid she threw up? Same happened to my girl when she was younger and she threw up a clear and bubbly fluid, which wasn't that dangerous since she still has her appetite. Non-serious causes of vomiting includes eating to much or too fast, exercising (or playing) right after eating and eating something disagreeable (but not poisonous). I think (IMO) your baby girl had too much playtime right after eating, threw up,and has become hypo. Does she have pale gums and tongue? Glassy eyes? Looking tired? You may try a wee bit of nutrical or karo syrup. But if the vomiting progresses and she's still lethargic, take her to the vet right away.

| It was a yellowish fluid. I agree I think she could be playing around too much after eating time. Her gums were and are very pink.....nothing wrong there. I also gave her some karo last night because she wasn't acting right (shaking and barely holding her little head up) . Here's an update on her: This morning she woke up and is doing a whole lot better! No more laying down....back to her little normal self . Thank you all for helping and giving me advice...you have been a life saver!

| Sounds to me like bile from an emtpy tummy. She probably used up her food playing. I think the Karo did the trick! Glad to hear she is better this morning! |
