| how much pepto? hey guys my litttle jack has an upset tummy. he had diarrhea this morning but is fine now. he hasnt pooped anymore. he pooped 3 times. he also just had a little treat n threw it up this is becauseof recent food change. just wanna know how much pepto is safe to give him? he will be 3 in october and is about 7 lbs |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Oh, I hope you aren't doing too much to try to "save" him. You switched his food too quickly, and he reacted normally and got sick, and then he got his sister's treat and vomited, this again is natural, now you want to give him Pepto-Bismol. I think you should just let him deal with this on his own. Pepto-Bismol can cause constipation; every drug has some adverse effects, and it best not to give drugs, unless absolutely needed. I would hate for you to write a thread in a couple of days, saying that he has not pooped in two days, and then you have to give him a bunch of stuff for that. Don't let him eat his sister's food or treats. If given a chance, dogs often can get better on their own.

| gotcha!! NO PEPTO!! im all better now cuz BOTH him and abby ate KIBBLE!!!! this is something that hasnt happened yet lol. im so glad. also, he's been able to keep it in so hopefully he will be better. we've decided we gonna just give him breakfast (canned food) leave kibble all day out for him and MAYBE canned foo again b4 bed. we might just mke chicken a weekend thing for him. |

| update hey guyssss guess wat??? jack pooped!!! and it waas soid. i mean still a little bit mucousy but i wud say 90% solid !!! yey. oh yea n guess wat both him and abby are eating kibble like there is no tomorrow!!! |
