| Lily chewed on a candle! Lily found a scented votive candle somewhere and was happily chewing away! As soon as I saw her I took it away but I think she may have ingested some. So far shes not acting any differently than normal. She just went and ate some of her food. Should I be concerned with anything? Anything specific I should watch for? She has never done anything like this before and I have no idea where she found this candle! Any help/advice/comments will be greatly appreciated! ~Angie

| Ooo I don't know for sure, but if it was me, I would call the emergency vet and let them know how much of the candle was ingested. I would be worry about blockages with the wax.

| If she isn't vomiting she probably will be okay. Just watch her if you don't want to call the vet.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Hopefully she will be ok just keep an eye on her. Satruday night Roxie got ahold of a scotch tape dispenser and chewed a lot of the plastic. I didn't want to panicand run to the er so I just watched her. 1/2 hour later she spit up and a piece of hard plastic was in it. I think it may have been stuck in her throat. She was fine after that. It amazes me what these devils will eat!!
