| Is this normal? Zoe was spayed Friday. She came home yesterday morning. She is not eating today. She ate some yesterday and drank well, but today she just doesn't seem to want to eat or drink. She is mainly just laying around and sleeping. I just want to know if this behavior is normal? She is 6 months old and weighs 4.8 pounds. Her incision looks good; less red than yesterday. OH, and she had her first poop today. She is urinating fine. I'm just really worried about my baby! Any information you can give me is appreciated!

| I just had two of my girls spayed on Wednesday. We picked them up on Thursday and I could tell they were still a little droggy. They did not eat much Thursday. I gave them some Natural Balance Lamb and Rice Roll Thursday night, which they enjoyed. By Friday they seemed more alert. Sassy seemed to take it a little harder than Bebe. On Friday I gave Sassy and little hard boiled with some cottage cheese. They are both now pretty much back to normal. They were couch potatoes anyway so I did not have to worry about them over exerting themselves. I had a 10 month old male neutered at the same time and he was so happy to get home. He acted like nothing even happened to him. Your little girl should be just fine. You might want to fix her a hard boiled egg and some cottage cheese. Just make sure she is drinking. You could also give her a little nutri-cal. My girls were 8 pounders and could stand to loose a little weight. |

| Thank you both for your advice. She seems a little better now. I'm going to send hubby for some pumpkin ASAP. I appreciate it. I am such a worrywart!
