Default Lucy update

Lucy is doing much better, now. She improves every day. She will probably aways have some problems, but I am happy that she is alive.

She can't walk very well on slippery surface, her feet just want to slide out from under her. But, on the carpet or out on the lawn. she does great. She can even run, but I call her a sidewinder. It' like her back legs don't always follow the front, like a car that's back wheels don't follow exacctly behind the front.

She goes back to the specialist on the April 30, for a checkup. How hope they are impressed with her progress.

Saturday Lucy's going to take the Canine Good Citizen test and the Therapy Dog International test. Please send some positive thoughs our way.

THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR PRAYERS AND CANDLES. I DON'T KNOW HOW WE WOULD HAVE MADE IT AS FAR AS WE HAVE WITHOUT YOUR SUPPORT. I especial want to thank Vicki and Val, as without their knowledge and support I wouldn't have known what was going on with Lucy.

Default Lucy pictures

Here are some pictures of Lucy that I took the other day. I meant to attach them to the original post, but, as usual, I got sidetracked.

Wow! I am so impressed!!! An accumulation of all the small improvements. Had been wondering how Lucy was doing. You are such a patient, loving momma. Lucy is such a cute little furbaby.

Janice,
I was going to write you tomorrow night and ask you how sweet Lucy was doing.. I had been thinking about the two of you and how Lucy was coming along.. I am so happy to hear she is doing so great..This is great news.. And I am so happy that she is able to walk... Sidewinding or not she is doing on her own. That in it's self is just wonderful.. I am so happy for you and I can't wait to hear about the next update..
