| Shelby had the surgery in both legs. I can't remember the exact figure, without looking at the paperwork, but it was about $2400.00 for both. (That does NOT include the Physical therapy that she is having POST surgery)

| 1,300 is not THAT bad, compared to the others.. the reason i thought my girl might have it is because when i lift her back legs sometimes i can feel them pop.. is this a symptom? other than that she is totally fine.. i read somewhere that the legs legs do pop sometimes.. is this true? my girl went to the vet today for her follow up bile acid from her L/S surgery hopefully the test comes back normal.. but i had him check her for L/S and he said she was fine.. what do you think about the popping?

| Well Zada's knees made a crunching sound and she had a grade 3, but she never limped or showed any signs of LP at all. I don't know, but a poping sound doesn't seem normal does it? Could you get a second opinion? |

| yeah, i could get a second opinion.. it's not a sound, i can feel it, and it seems like it's more her thigh area, than her knees.. like the joint where her back legs start..

| Gracie had both of hers done at the same time, it was $3800. Pre-op there were x-rays and an exam that was about $400. The surgical fee covered the post op care, even an extra bandage change and all meds.

| Roxy had both done at the same time $3000 (Long Island) And she had a poping noise in both her legs, that was one of the signs with her. Other signs were that Roxy had this cute walk (like skipping) - I feel awful for thinking it was cute, b/c it actually was her knees luxating. When it would get bad she would limp or carry her leg in the air. That's when we got her into surgery. |

| LP Surgery cost I had surgery performed on Gracie in November here in Virginia, cost around 1500 for one knee. It was well worth the cost, she runs like the wind now and I don't have to worry about her compensating with her other knee and causing problems with that one.........

| When Lucy had hers done, both knees were $2800 that covered everything, pre and post op. Although, physical therapy wasn't suggested. Instead I had to do range of motion exercises on her legs. If I had them done one at a time it would have been $1800 each. |
