| Kiya's Vet Day(scary) Hey everyone, Kiya had been displaying pain symptoms for a while. I took her to the emergency vet and they expressed serious need for Kiya to have the dental done ASAP. No problem, right? Wrong. I dished out $350 alone for the exam, blood work, stool panel, antibiotics, etc. But then I got slammed with an estimate for over $1200 for the dental. No way, I'm definitely going to check her regular vet and maybe one other place, but that's it. I just can't believe that they thought I would go for that. That's very much impossible. . They do very well with animals, but it feels like since she is a yorkie, they can just up the price as much as they want because she's such a special breed. Any feedback anyone???

| If that is just a cleaning without blood work included, that is way too much. If blood work was included with more involved dental work, that price sounds fiar for CA.

| This is without blood work included. I know Kiya's teeth are bad, but not $1200 bad, that's just ridiculous. I just got a call not too long ago, and the Doctor said he'd try to match a lower estimate if I can find a place that can do it cheaper. Game on
