| Gum stuck in hair I came home today for lunch and found my pack of gum all over the floor. Duke must have got it from my purse somehow. Anyways, i got the ones from hair out, but there's some on his foot, in between his paws!!! I know that's a sensitive area for puppies and he won't sit still for me to get it out. Any advice on how to get gum out of the sensitive area of his foot? Thanks

Try rubbing peanut butter in it it will soften and loosen the gum. Was this "Sugarless" gum??? Some artificial sweetners, especially xylitol, can be fatal for yorkies. If it was please take him to the vet or call poison control ASAP!!

| Gum I just went through this.I didn't post because I was ashamed for being so lax. I went to sleep with the gum in my mouth and my littliest one likes to sleep on my neck well I woke and he was glued to my face via the gum(all over him) I shaved him down and did a terrible job at that. I say depends how much and how deeply it is in the coat.you could just cut that area also.I really don't see how you'll get it out and not damage the coat. good luck

| Coming from a person that has extremely long hair the majority of her young life... ICE Works great! So does Peanut Butter and an Egg. My brothers were constantly putting gum in my hair == they said it was because I was brat. I think they knew better being that the youngest was 7 years older than me ... but thats off topic... Assuming that they work the same in Yorkie Hair, egg, peanut butter or ICE will work great!

| Peanut butter works great!! I had four kids and for a long time gum was mot allowed inside my house. They stuck it everywhere. Believe me! I know from experience. Peanut butter will remove gum from anything. |
