| Gracie is in the recovery room... I just got a call from my regular vet saying Gracie did great in her LP surgery and the post-op x-rays look great. I am waiting on a call from the Surgeon. I will post more when I know more. Thank you all for your prayers and well wishes!

| I spoke with the surgeon. He said Gracie is having a smooth recovery from anesthesia. If all goes well she gets to come home in 24 hours. 4 weeks of strict rest then 4 weeks of graduated activity/leash walking for rehab. Lets hope she does not get an infection or have any other complications. He did say that 50% of Yorkies who have this procedure will need to have the pins removed anywhere from 2 months to 2 years post op, if they are irritating the skin. The skin in the area is so delicate and thin. That is all I know. I will post more as I know more. Thanks for being here!
