My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | Oh My Gosh Brooklyn just fell down the stairs! Oh my god I'm shaking so bad. I just watched as Brooklyn fell down the stairs. They are hard stairs (no carpet they are tiled) and the sound is ringing in my ears and the sight of it all. I can't stop shaking!!!!! His poor little body just went limp and he had no control and just rollled down from one step to the next. I caught him, he probable went down about 5 stairs. OMG! I just started bawling and shaking. He was screaming all the way. All I good think was his neck, his head I checked him over and he seems ok. I gave him nutrical, yogart drops, his soft treats, cheerios, and his hard puppy treats to make sure he's ok and he took everything. I waiting here before I go back to work to make sure he's ok. OMG you guys what a horrible scare. I just can't stop shaking. I'm going to go check on him |

| OMG how is he now? Oh, I know how scary it can be just to watch them jump down off the couch - I can't imagine the stairs. They can sure scare the dickens out of us. Praying he's ok...

| Oh my gosh, I would be so scared and upset also. It sounds like he's ok, but let us know later how he's doing.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Oh how scary! You saved him though - by acting so quickly. Give him a hug for me. Is he drinking okay? Maybe get some extra water in him bc stress gets them so dehydrated.

| I hope he's okay. I try not to let Ellie do hard floor stair cases anymore because all dogs slip way too easily on them.

My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | Update Well I had to leave, I had no choice, and come back to work...BUT he was eating all the treats I gave him, took all the nutrical, and was giving me kisses. he's ok ----right????? I noticed this morning he was trying the stairs out and had went down one. So on my lunch he tried it again only one of the others ran past him (Brodie flies up and down them) and made him speed up and he lost control. I'm STILL shaking here at work! I seen the whole thing and HEARD it. His poor tiny body just went limp and he had no control. And he cried I think he's ok. RIGHT??? ya he's ok. There will be some changes and new gates going up. I wish my husband will carpet them. I'm going to ask if we can remove the tile. You guys it was HORRIBLE!!! |
