| Breeder Question Western Pa. Hello, My family and I are going to make a yorkie part of our family. We live in western Pa. and contacted Glosrun kennel in Delmont Pa. We picked out a 4 week old puppy and put a down payment on her as the litter was selling fast. (6 puppies in a weekend) Although it may be to late, In talking to other people, including a vet, it seems as though we're not hearing many good things about the breeder, including comments on a thread on this site. The breeder seamed very nice and knowledgeable, both parents looked healthy and very friendly. Our question is has anyone purchased a puppy from this kennel/breeder and if so how is their yorkie. Any comments would greatly be appreciated as I have 3 girls who are more excited about the pup than christmas. Sincerely, Bubs |

| She did have coccidia when we got her, but besides that she's very healthy and adapting very well to her new home. Last edited by brenfoxwv; 01-21-2007 at 07:41 PM. |

| I don't know about PA, but here in CA we have laws against selling sick puppies! If you've heard bad things, I really would get your deposit back and look elsewhere. Your girls deserve to learn that the best things in life are worth waiting for, and supporting breeders who care about the health of their pups REALLY pays off in the long run. Nevermind the fact that you're obviously at risk for buying an ill puppy (or perhaps one that will develop problems later), and it is NO fun taking that precious puppy back and forth to the vet for weeks or months after you bring it home! Has the breeder done health testing on the pups? Champion lines?
