I don't know about PA, but here in CA we have laws against selling sick puppies! If you've heard bad things, I really would get your deposit back and look elsewhere. Your girls deserve to learn that the best things in life are worth waiting for, and supporting breeders who care about the health of their pups REALLY pays off in the long run. Nevermind the fact that you're obviously at risk for buying an ill puppy (or perhaps one that will develop problems later), and it is NO fun taking that precious puppy back and forth to the vet for weeks or months after you bring it home!
Has the breeder done health testing on the pups? Champion lines?
