it was closed at MY request. i didnt go on here yesterday for handouts or rip ppl off. I amnot a scammer.... I came on here to ask for guidenace and prayers. ppl helped and thats great but if i new it would cause this much turmoil than i would have refused it all. I would rather lose my house than have ppl think bad of me or my intent and think of me just as a scammer. I have taled to the ppl that never got thier order and all is straghtened out. I posted another thread also stating that any orders that havbe NOT been recieved that I havent talked to please let me know. I must have overlooked two. My problem is i dont have a "filing" sytem.. thats a big problem which thats being fixed. if any has questions let me know! again, any questions would be gladly accepted. I really would rather not put all of it on the open forum however. ![]() Last edited by simonandhallie; 12-30-2006 at 08:09 AM. | |

| ![]() I read the thread yesterday, all of it. Then I went to the for sale threads and saw how people were not receiving products they paid for with their hard earned money. I have seen alot of excuses as to why and find it rather hard to swallow. If there was a problem with shipping, I could understand, maybe. But not with all of the non-received products. I sent a package to my daughter 1 week before Christmas and she received it in 2 days. I emailed her the tracking number so she and I could both track it. You can only do so much for someone and then you have to stop, especially when it is evident that they seem to continue with this sort of behavior/pattern. At some point they have to start helping themselves. I think that admin should set up a policy that if people are having problems receiving their products, and it is a pattern, then the person doing the selling loses the right to post any For Sale items. JMO I am sure that most of us have been in dire situations, but we work it out for ourselves. We do not take advantage of the kindness of others. |

| ![]() Kristy, I would just like to THANK YOU for being so prompt and working with me when I ordered a birthday cake and treats from you. I had an excellent experience with you, as I have all other YT'ers and I would not hesitate to do business with you in the future. I am sorry to hear that option is not available any longer. XOXO- Amy

Administrator | ![]() Solicitations for donations is not allowed here at YorkieTalk. It is impossible for the YorkieTalk team to monitor each and every post on YorkieTalk, thus we rely on members to report problematic posts. Some posts that violate YorkieTalk rules may get through from time to time. If we do receive numerous reports of a seller not shipping goods that have been paid for, we will take action, including suspending or banning accounts. There are many reputable, fashionable, and reliable storeowners on YorkieTalk. We do not specifically endorse any stores nor do we have any ownership in any online stores that advertise here. We recommend payment by credit card for any orders that you make for your own protection, in case there is a problem. Thank you for your feedback. |

| ![]() I'm taking a 10 minute break from work to throw in my two cents on this subject and then I'm done. Since I'm only giving it 10 minutes. I'll apologize in advance for the straight forward bluntness. I don't have time to make it sound better with sugar-coating. Kristy, I'm sorry but your posts following the questions posed to you about this entire situtation makes it seem like you're grateful for the help you've received, but also rude and spiteful torwards any questions or skepticism. YT members are very giving. I have often seen that first hand. Even to people who are not asking for financial help. You may not have started posting your troubles, expecting a handout. But historical patterns of giving on YT must have given you some idea that you'll get some help even if you don't ask for it outright and directly. It is the loving nature of the many YT members. They are always there to help out another in the event of an emergency. But having a crisis once in a blue moon, is an "emergency". Having a crisis every few months turns it into a problem, a pattern of neglect or irresponsibility. You have exhausted your network of personal family and friends able to help bail you out of situtations. You've come onto YT more than once and more than once YT members have helped you out financially. To me, it's starting to sound like a pattern, not a one time "emergency". I'm sorry if patterns results in skepticism on my part, but it does. And really, you should get your priorities straight. That means rent before christmas presents, a steady job before what to do for nye or hubby's bday. Your energies right now should be put towards finding yourself a steady paying J-O-B. As I said in my post, 2 full time jobs paying minimum wage would cover your housepayments, insurance, taxes, food for the kids, and then some. Instead of spending time on YT, figuring out what to do for your husband's birthday, your priorities should be on finding employment with a steady income so that you can meet your financial obligations. You're an adult and a mother. You should start acting like one rather than a teenager who spitefully responds with a "FINE! be that way!" and attitude to match. My parents were blue collar workers who raised 3 children with 2 full time jobs and 3 part time jobs between the both of them. I never knew a human being can work that much. I didn't know what day my parents birthdays were until I was nearly in jr high because they never celebrated it. They prioritized dinner on the table over a cake for themselves. I later found out they gave each other a card for their birthdays and the birthday person got to sleep in on their birthday weekend while the other took the kids out solo. That was their gift to each other. I'm not saying that's how you should prioritize. But I'm just illustrating how some people, like my parents have. And I love them for their sacrifices and self reliance. I'm all for "Paying It Forward" but I don't want to wind up like "Matchstick Men" either. Personally, I work hard for my money. I give to causes to make myself feel good about making a postive impact on society, but I prefer to give to individuals who are truly victims of unforseen circumstances and not victims of their own irresponsibility. Okay, so it took a little more than 10 mins. Admin is free to edit or delete my 2 cents as it is deemed appropriate. I just wanted to voice this opinion for myself, even if no one else cares for it. |
