Donating YT 14K Club Member | Are you a dog walker...REDO Just wanted to know how many people out there walk their dogs and how often. Maybe I'm a bad mom, but we don't do walks but my babies do get plenty of excercises here at home...running, playing, wrestling, etc. So, what about you???

| I, or one of my kids, walk my big dogs every day..my westie and my poodle, but even my westie gets tired after about a mile so I sometimes take the yorkies in a stroller, but we go to the small dog park two or three times a week. I have a big single story house on an acre so there is lots of room for yorkies to run inside (long hallways) and out on the covered patios. I am terrified of the birds of prey and coyotes in my neighborhood. We do have an 11 acre village green where we take the yorkies to run on a leash and they go to the dog beach on the weekends. My yorkies love being outside, especially Ava, so even though they don't really go on long walks, I make sure they get out side several times a day either in the covered courtyards or the backyard on a leash. |

Yorkie Lover Donating Member | I try to take the girls for a walk at least a couple of times a week but in the winter we don't go that often. The girls love to walk and love to go. Since Sailor has been having knee problems we haven't gone in a while because she can't make it very long. They do get plenty of exercise around the house and in our backyard, we have 1/2 an acre. Hopefully once it warms up again we will start walking more often again!!

| Sully gets walks (even if only on the treadmill) almost every day of the week but not ALWAYS every day.....so I voted a few days a week. We play chase around the house CONSTANTLY when we're home and almost every day he gets to go outside and have "doggie time" as we call it with all of our neighborhood dogs. (We have our own dog park at our condo community, it rocks!) While he's out there playing with his friends he gets a LOT of running in there!

| Depends~ In the summer we walk maybe .5 mile between 6-7 pm and then again at 11 for final poop! In the winter or rain,, we just do the 11pm walk and that is about 3-4 blocks. In the summer it's alot more often daytime walks and evening walks with my bf and his Cocker Spaniel. I MISS SUMMER!

| We walk almost every single day. My two love it and will choose a walk over food. That is saying a lot for my little piggy Gus. I enjoy walking them but even the days I don't want to it is easier just to take them because they know when it's time and will drive me crazy with whining and running around.

| When I watch my friend's yorkie and shih tzu, I walk them three time a week no matter how the weather is. My friend who is an owner walk them 8 am, 6 pm, and 11 pm. So that is what I usually do. It is hard when it is snowing outside. But they seem to like walking on the snow. It will be nice if I need to walk only once a day and get my future pup to get good potty training.

| Nope, Tigger doesn't get walks. He has before, but John and I work long days and usually by the time we get home we don't have the energy. Plus right now we're working on getting through the third and fourth season of 24 before the fifteenth. But I'm pretty sure he gets enough just running around here. |

| I don't needs to walk my little ones, they keep themselves busy all day. When they need to burn off some steam they just run laps around the house chasing each other. It's too funny!

| I try and give the girls plenty of exercise, but my problem is - in S. Tx. there are so many loose dogs around. I can't handle two little ones if a stray runs up and it's a real problem around here. I just can't chance it. We walk over to the neighbor's but no around the block or serious strolling.

| I voted a couple of times per week because right now in NYC it is very cold and Chewy HATES the cold. he loves to go out tho so I do walk him around the block and now I am trying to train him to go potty outside. In the spring, summer and fall it is a different story! We are out every day and also go to the dogrun a lot. |
