Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Do you like your job? (poll) I've been having ups and downs at work lately, and I thought it would be interesting to find out if other people like their jobs or if most of us just work because we have to. Here's a poll.

| I have always loved my jobs and have always been in sales, mostly selling new construction (homes) Since I retired 6 yrs ago a friend asked her Mom and me if we would be interested in sharing the care of the children (3 of the nicest kids you'd ever want to meet) During school months it's only 3pm to 6pm but it gets me out of the house and away from old people and with children who have a whole different attitude in life. I am very lucky to have always loved what I do and never considered it work since it always has been something I love to do. Great thread!!

| I love my job because I am always with the little ones . Its always rewarding for me to see a little one going to lovely forever homes after I gave them the cares they needed , sometimes it can be heartbreaking too but its my life and would not change it . |

| Job wise, I am one of the luckiest people alive. I get to stay at home with my yorkie kids and design and sew for yorkies. I'm not going to get rich $$ wise, but I am happy and content. |

| I would not say I "love" my job, but I do like it and have no interest in looking elsewhere.

| I really like my job - good pay, great benefits, great co-workers, lots of good drama and gossip to keep me amused) - but I'm too old to be lifting all that freight(we put away our own freight), hauling 5 gallon buckets of paint all over, climbing up and down a ladder all day, etc (I'm almost 58). All in all, it's a fun job. (I'm in the paint dept. at Lowe's).

| I am in nursing school and will graduate at the end of the year. I am currently a care giver and I love helping people. I'm not sure what the future holds but it will either include a masters in nursing or possibly becoming a Vet.
