| Kitchen gadget clunkers What is the most expensive tool in your kitchen that you have only used once (or maybe never!). I live in a condo, so I don't have unlimited space. I do own a full-sized food processor and a microwave oven. I do own a Kitchen-aid stand mixer and more knives than I need - But while expensive, I have used these items more than once. I tend to use my toaster oven WAY more than my full sized range. But I have only used my Matfer Mandoline 2000 Pro once, which makes it dollar per use one of the most expensive tools in my kitchen. I also have a rarely used kitchen aid mixer ( around $300) and a manual restaurant style juicer ($150) Share your kitchen clunkers!!!

| I have the vita mix. After much research I purchased it from Costco. Ok so far so good...well the next week dh and I were in costco and they were having a demo for the upgraded version So..we took the one we had purchased back and got the upgraded version... with extra stuff like the dry blade and etc. I have a reall issue.. if I have something I have to have the "set" Anywho... I use it everyday (except sometimes on week ends) I make green drinks and it has helped dh health a lot.. and mine to. I have made soup also. yelp.. at $700.00 how many drinks do I need to make to break even? I really don't care... I use it and it was worth it. I got my dd the upgraded ninja for christmas.. better price

| My two are the Breville juicer and my Kitchenaid mixer. I used to use them both a lot, but now, not so much. I'm sure when summer comes around I'll use the juicer more often. It's just such a B to clean it! Bf loves to use it, but then never cleans it, so I have to do it. ergh

| Hmmmm I use all my stuff! . I only have one item that I can think of that is collecting dust. It's my blender. And it wasn't expensive. Once I got a magic bullet my blender was no longer useful! I can't think,of anything else I don't use!

| I have had my Vitamix for a few years. I love it but I don't use it enough. I'm still glad that I have it when I do use it.

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | I love my mandolin. I use it for everything especially in the summer with all the vegetables. Fried eggplant, friend zucchini . .. I think I see a trend. I love to cook but I have no storage. So everything I have is multi purpose. I got the cuesinart griddler with the plates to make waffles. I think the thing that is my clunker is all the different cake pans I have. I very rarely bake. I am a lazy baker lol
