| Hello and Thanks for the great Welcome and quik response. Our Baby Bitsy, has a serious uterine infection and the vet says she needs surgery. She is getting on in years and I don't want her to suffer as she will be 15 the 28th of this month. The vet says she will be fine after surgery if all else looks good. She has not been vomiting or showing any signs of other problems and was bouncing around this morning like a new puppie. Any advice would be greatly apprieciated. We are not ready for her to leave us if at all possible. Hello again, I regret to say that our Bitsy did not awake from surgery today, The Vet found tumors in her liver that were inoperable, She will be missed. A Special Thanks to all of you here at YorkieTalk.com Last edited by dmlandsons; 05-12-2005 at 10:12 PM. Reason: Yorkie 'Bitsy' passed on! |

| I am soooo sorry, that is the same way we lost our first yorkie Sissy at 17 years, she is in heaven for yorkies only, and has many friends that have been waiting for her...it takes time to grieve and heal, but I found that a new baby was my answer,I got a little boy because i couldnt get another girl, then later added a little girl also, if your memories are as great as ours were I recommend you get another baby yorkie as soon as you feel ready,in the meantime enjoy all of the time you had togeather,,I understand for sure..kiko and koki's mom...Judy's2yorkies |

| Welcome. So sorry to hear that Bitsy is ill. My suggestion is to give her a tablespoon of yogurt with active bacteria every day.
