| My poor siamese So, I have one yorkie, one chihuahua and one Siamese cat. I was playing with my dogs in my room today and then I went into the living room and found the balcony screen door pushed open. I know that my cat opens the door sometimes and it drives me crazy because she is super clumsy and we live on the third floor. So I started to search my apartment for her. I couldn't find her anywhere. I woke up my boyfriend to help me look. We ended up looking around outside. I was super worried because she didn't have ID collar on, she had one of her other ones on and I hadn't gotten her microchipped. She is an amazing cat and so pretty. I knew someone would keep her if they found her. And, even if they didn't want to, they wouldn't know where to return her to. AND I like off of a super busy road! I was freaking out. Luckily I found her huddled in a bush! She had to have fallen more then 20 feet! She seems to be ok though. I was so worried. I wouldnt know what to do if I had lost her. |

| So glad you found her! Cats do indeed have 9 lives. My Siamese seemed to be the worst for getting out and into trouble. I'm glad she is OK!

| Maybe you could find some kind of latch to put on the balcony screen door. You were lucky this time, but next time she could kill herself falling that far or also one of your Yorkies could sneak out and fall of the balcony if it's pushed open. Glad she's alright. Elaine |
