| Someone was watching too much Dog Whisperer! While taking our walk at the park today, Gracie and I saw a little Chihuahua that had been dyed PINK! The poor little thing literally glowed in the sunshine. When asked why they did that, the dog's "dad" said, "We were just bored and decided it would be fun to do". I can tell you they sure got everyone's attention! Wish I had my camera with me. A part of me thinks that is cruel. Maybe I am just being too sensitive?

| The owners of a pet grooming salon near here died their dalmations for Christmas one year. One was red, the other was green. By the time we saw them, they had faded...one was pink, the other pale green! I hear it comes off on the furniture and carpet!!!

Ive heard of this, there is safe dye made just for dogs but it's definetly not somethign I would do. My groomer did it to her poodle once for pictures and the poodle did not seem to mind it at all but yes it seems a little crazy. People probobly think what I do is crazy though so Im not sure what to make of it all.
