| Question can n e 1 help me? I have a question my friend has a maltipoo who had babies like 2months ago she's going away for 3 days and is going to take her dog to a puppy hotel. She's worried that while her dog is there she will get pregnant. What is the normal time for a dog to go into heat again after having pups 2months ago? If anyone can help me out so i can relay this information to her would be great!

| She should know if the female is in heat and tell the manager . And if she goes into heat while she's there it would be about 10 days before she would be ready to breed. If she is truely concerned then i guess I would ask management not to allow her around any males. |

| The normal heat cycle is every six months, usually whether they have puppies or not. So it would most likely be six months from whenever she went into heat before she conceived the puppies. Hope this helps.
