| Izzie - Our pygmy goat My youngest son, middle child went outside this morning to check on the animals as he always does. Izzie was kind of drunken like, falling down, and she kept "bahhing". I told him to bring her in the house. The kids laid her on their blankets and covered her up until she warmed up real good. She stayed in the house, laying in the one spot from about 8:30 this morning until about 2:30 this afternoon, when she decided she felt better and started walking around. It was quite scary. Not sure if it was the cold, or what it was. We lost our baby goat that was born in June, on the first day of January. We still don't know what happened. I called our vet and took the steps they gave us to treat her. I just hope she is ok. I checked on her this evening and she is bundled up with the other goats. Here is a picture of her and my daughter.

| Thank you. Yes. She is eating. I pray she makes it through the night. I will be checking on her first thing in the a.m. She is the prettiest pygmy goat I have ever seen. Kind of looks like a baby deer. My dh thinks she is pregnant. I told him being pregnant doesn't make you stagger. Silly man! LOL

| She looks so tiny! I had a goat when I was little. His horns were huge though. Izzie's horns are a lot smaller and cuter.

| Has she ever done this before ? Maybe she got accidentally hit by one of the other goats? Do goats get sick ? Maybe she is feeling sick ( like a human flu?) I hope she is O.K. She is a very pretty goat . My Aunt had a goat but it was NOT that cute! The picture of your daughter and Izzie is adorable !!

| She seems better today. I actually have been gone all day, but my oldest son said she was acting normal. I still will watch her for a few weeks before I am certain.

| Update: Izzie passed away today. We still aren't sure what the cause was, but thankfully dh was home and he could bury here. She was a sweetie.
