This is ," Walker", a friend called me a said she saw that a bull terrier was looking for a home. I contacted the owner, we talked it over and decided I would take him and see if he would fit in with our family. I have always adored this breed and am excited to possably be his new mommy. He is a year old.

He is adorable...the previous owner only had him shortly and realized she didn't have enough time for him, so we decided to see how he did here. He definatly needs help in the training department, but is such a sweetie. The only part that concerns me is his lack of socialization with other dogs. He loves people, but not sure about other animals. We are doing some behavior tests with him and he seems to be a little freaked out with other animals, so he might go back. We will see....

He is a very nice looking dog!

When we got Rusty (from our neighbors) he had never been around other dogs, other than his litter mates. He would constantly bark at first, but once he learned that if he stopped and watched, he too could play fetch or run with the other dogs...he has come a long way...still working on somethings, but he has proven to be a very smart dog!

Give it time...I am sure he will come around!

Update: Walker went back to his owner. He bit my boyfriends leg while we were out for a walk. He started growling at people when we past them, and I told myself I wouldn't keep him if he was aggressive toward people. He was such a sweetie, but I don't want to keep a dog that has that temperment.

On a good note, the owner is going to keep him, cause she doesn't want to take a chance with anyone else.
