| WARNING: Gross Spider!!! EXTREME CLOSE-UPS BELOW!!! I posted a strange looking black widow spider awhile ago (back in the summer) and then we found this one last weekend in the big dogs water dish outside (YUCK). I have no clue what it is!!! I first thought of a brown recluse, but it doesn't have any markings. What do you think??? We do live WAY out in the country, so we always have creepy-crawley things (yuck, I know)....Thankfully, we do keep the house and yard sprayed...it is time to do that again with the cooler temps!! 1st pic: in bottom of jar 2nd pic: next to a quarter DSCF6649.JPG DSCF6653.JPG Top view and bottom view DSCF6657.JPG DSCF6661s.jpg

The spider was already dead when I took the close up pictures, but it still freaked me out! I wouldn't touch it...just with a long stick! HA!

| Speaking of crabbish...the little one that was on my back today was just like a crab...okay, only a very small spider. It was about the size of a pencil eraser, but it had the rounded body and the longer curved "claw-like" legs in the front......needless to say...it is a dead spider now! Ha!

| Oh my that is a creepy looking spider. I too am terrified of spiders...thankfully most of the spiders around me are just daddy long legs type...but the other evening, there was a big black one in our garage and had to have hubby come save me... |

Ha! That's funny! We have those Daddy Long Legs here too.....I hate them! In fact, one was on the porch last night....I think we will get the house/yard sprayed Sunday! With this cooler weather we are having, I think I have seen more.....YUCK!

| It looks like a type of 'wolf spider'. They are not poisonous...but can bite.

| Most spiiders will bite if they feel the need to protect themselves.I do not mind them at all,my husband calls for me when we have a spider.LOL Love snakes bats etc,but will run and scream like a child for a mouse. Very pretty spider though. |

| That's what my mother said...that she thought it looked like some form of a wolf spider.....but she didn't know....and I didn't know there was more than one kind of wolf spider. I always thought wolf spiders were poisonous, but maybe it is just because they are sooo scary/creepy looking.
