| I am quitting work...will be staying home!!!! I am actually kinda excited about this...and nervous all at the same time. I have decided to hire someone to take my place in my company (I will still own it, just not do the work LOL) and I will be staying home. I have been working with my husband for the last year and it has been HORRIBLE for our marriage. So...I said "we can work together, or we can be married...but not both!!" so we decided we would rather stay married LOL so i am interviewing this week to try and find someone to fill my shoes. I will stay home and keep up with the house, do some things i have been longing to do, and try and expand my "doggie accessories" that i am hoping to make i do not want to do it all the time, but something in my spare time... I have never not worked. I have always held my own and held a job. so...this will be very different for me. but i am ready. i think it will be good for my daughter too. no more late nights of mommy working all the time. wish me luck

| It might be kind of hard once you get over the "vacation" phase, but just get yourself into a routine of some sort and you'll be fine. Especially with doing the side stuff.....it may end up being a lot more than you expect (hopefully!).

| Good luck! When I first quit work (after over 12 years on that job), I was soooo nervous, but once I took that first step, I have never looked back. It was like a was FREE!!

| Congratulations Mandee. It will be an adjustment once you get over the feeling of being on vacation. Now is the time to seek out your friends who are at home and plan lunch dates or whatever!!!! Pretty soon you'll be asking when the new stuff will be on TLC cause you've seen that same What Not to Wear or A Baby Story three times now!!!

| I am soooo jealous. I've worked full time for a looong time. This may sound silly, but I've always wanted to be able to stay at home. It is seriously a dream of mine. I wonder if my stress level would go down, or if I'd just find other things to stress about!!! Have fun and enjoy yourself!!!!!!!

| Congratulations! Sounds like the perfect solution! I've stayed at home most of my adult life and it does get boring sometimes but I imagine most people get bored at work sometimes too and anyway- that's what YT is for.

| WoW congratulations I would love to be in your shoes. I was in your shoes for my last year of college but college in itself was a job, but after I graduated I stayed off work for about 4 months and I enjoyed it and so did Bailey but I can say that it did get a lil boring but if I could do it now that I have a JOB I would go back in a heartbeat LOL

| Congratulations to you and your hubby for making such a wise choice. Staying married is important I am sure your daughter will be delighted to have more time with you. Don't be surprised one day you will say how did I have time to work! Enjoy. |
