| Anyone with a serger I am looking into buying a serger and wondered if anybody had a certain brand/model you really liked or had any advice in what to look for or look out for. Thanks!! |

| I've got a BabyLoc and I like it, but I've never used any other brand. It belonged to my grandma and since I'm the only one in the family that really sews, I got it when she died. I think there's much newer and fancier models out nowadays though. A serger is a sewing machine that does finish work mainly.

| hehe, yes a serger finishes seams to look profetional. If you take a shirt you have, like a polo shirt, look at the inside at one of the seams where two pieces were sewn together. You'll see the stitching on the seam. That's what a serger does |
