| A little upset..but an example On Friday a very good friend to my family ( my ex boyfriends father) was taken from our lives. But there is a different light to this story than what most are used to. Mario Vieira was a devout Christian. And the night before his death he was preaching in his church about the greatest teaching of Jesus is to give your life for one you love. On Friday at his job site in Jersey City; he was helping a new co worker learn the ropes of the job. While standing under the bridge and helping the co worker a pipe came loose from up above. They heard the men on the bridge yell and then Mario pushed the 19 year old co worker out of the way. He took the hit from the pipe; although wearing his hard hat...it didn't save him. On Saturday they removed the respirator.. and gave every organ possible to needy transplant individuals. He leaves behind twin boys that are 20; a daughter that is 23 and a son in law and grand daughter...not to mention his wife of nearly 20 years. This man was the ultimate example of Christian life...everything he said, did, and worked for was pleasing Jesus. I pray for his family...and his friends. We will miss him like crazy but we know he is home now. I ask for prayers...and lots of them. If there is anything that Mario would have wanted it would be to have people pray for his wife and family. They find peace knowing he died as a hero and also is home now. However it still hurts. PLEASE Pray!!

| Thank you for sharing that story with us...It sounds like he was a wonderful man and a very devout Christian. Not only did he save his co-worker's life, he also saved the lives of many others by donating his organs. I will pray for his family and friends...I'm so sorry for your loss...
