Missing Yoshi Everyday! Donating Member | Looking for a way... to get my baby home safe and sound...so I was wondering if there are any YT members from the Port Arthur or Houston area that will be heading up to Dallas, OKC or maybe even KS this Memorial weekend... Reason I am asking is because I found my baby boy...and too worried about having him ship to me since he is tiny. I want to find the best possible solution to get him here.... I have friends from Dallas that will be heading up here Saturday...and they don't mind bringing him to me...but the question now is...how do I get him from Port Arthur to Dallas... here is a link to my previous thread...if anyone can help I would greatly appreciated it...thanks... Link to other thread btw here is a picture of him...and i am debating between the following 3 names... Yoshi (short for japanese word Yoshiko that means good child) - Snickers as in the candy bar & SaKe as in the japanese liquor...maybe someone on YT can help come up with a catchier name based on my selection...kekek

| I remember many weeks back reading about the very same topic. I really feel for you, not wanting to fly out such a tiny baby. Here is the name of a ground pet transportaion company. "Pro-Pet Transports" - This is a quote from their site: "Moving pets safely and comfortably to their destination is our only business. Our nation wide attended ground pet transportation service eliminates the trauma and inconvenience of moving pets by other methods and provides for the best possible care during the journey. We also offer carrier cushions, animal toys and other quality transportation accessories you may purchase to make your pet's journey more comfortable." You can find them here: http://www.pro-pet-transports.com/index.php Good luck to you, your new baby is just adorable! Being a totaly Chocoholic, I love the name Snickers. Don't you find that any Yorkie, anyway, you just want to eat right up?? |

| Oops! I also found a link for the AATA Animal Transportation Association: http://www.aata-animaltransport.org/ They are a non-profit organization that provides a list of companies that will safely and humanely deliver your baby. Here is a copy of their mission statement: " Mission Statement: The Animal Transportation Association is an organization with a worldwide membership of diverse participants. We serve as a resource for those concerned with the humane handling and transportation of animals. AATA initiates and encourages related organizations to develop "best practices" for animal transport." Hope this helps!! |
