| Vacation plans...What would you do? I made reservations for a 1 bedroom suite at the beach, starting Memorial Day. Reservations are for two nights. This will be Gracie's first trip to the beach, and my first trip in probably 15 years. Now I hear the weather forcast is for 60% chance of rain, drizzle, and highs in the upper 50's. My choices are to go anyway, light a fire in the fireplace, have a glass of wine, watch the waves and escape the rat race, or, sit home, watch the rain and do the same old. Gas here is about $3.45 a gallon, but I have a hybrid car. What would you do?

| Go and have fun anyway. You never know what the weather will be like and the forecast is often wrong!! Plus, most beaches don't allow dogs after Memorial Day - so it might be her only chance till fall!!!!

| GO! If the weather is dreary and you stay home, you might be down in the dumps - BUT if you go on VACATION and sit by that fire, have that wine, WOW - how fun. Good luck with your decision!

| Well, the recommendations are unanimous. Guess we will go. Thanks much all! I will take my lap top. If I can get the Wi Fi to work, I will check in with you from the beach!

| That wouldn't even be a question if I were in that situation. Relax, it's good for the soul and will be a nice mom and daughter bonding time. |

| Good news! The weather forecast is now for cloudy skies with only a 40% chance of rain for the two days we will be at the beach! Lets hope it stays that way!

| I would still go given the chance of rain because A. it's not 100% B. Even if it's still 100%, I'd still go as there's nothing like leaving to a different place and leaving life behind for a short period of time. Leave all chores, commitments, obligations etc behind |
