| Umas' was mostly down when we first got her. Couldn't hardly find it by feel either! Now it is mostly up all the time!

| Hootie and Hobbs' tails both stay down all the time but my neighbor has a yorkie and hers stays up all the time! Weird! |

| tails English Yorkies are bred and trained to drop the tail..the English do not show them with up tails...in the US we prefer a tail carried up..the standard states to to the level of the back, but most in the ring are very up..strait up...you will rarely brign a Yorkie to title with a tail that is tucked down... Alot has to do with the dogs temperatment..how they are feeling about a situation, strange place etc.. |

| Seems true... Pepper's tail is up when playing or going for a walk/excited. But if something spooks him during walking (like a weird noise or plastic bag flying around ) his tail goes down and stays down until he gets happy/calm again.

When I walk him, plays or hears a noise........his ears are erect and his tail at an angle...........weird
