The SD900 is still quite a new camera, there are many YTers with Canon Elphs though and I have yet to hear a complaint.

Enjoy the camera! Do you plan on printing photos at home or at a lab? Costco does cheap prints, as far as home, Canon makes some great home printers too, I have a Pixma series one.

Wow -- that is one nice camera and would be my choice if I was getting one. I actually cut a picture out and put it on the fridge one Christmas of just the Canon Powershot I wanted. DH thought if that was good, the DSLR would be even better -- so he bought me the Canon Rebel XT -- but I think it is too complicated for me. I need to take a class just to figure out how to use it. I am a point and shoot person! But I don't want to seem ungrateful -- so I suffer through worse pictures than I was getting with my old camera.
But occasionally it takes really good shots despite the operator.

I have a Minolta Dimage, with a 10x zoom. Love it...but its big due to the zoom and I don't use the zoom all that much. So since its bigger I haven't been taking it everywhere with me. So I wanted a small one. I'm hoping to be able to take this everywhere I go !

But still have my other nice one when I want to use the powerful zoom.

Villette you should enter that photo in a few contests -- it has winner written all over it. Title it "glee!"
