| An interesting Saturday Night!!! Last Saturday night I met up some old friends from highschool. Keep in mind I have not seen this people for 13 years, and some of them are really good friends with each other. Anyways we all met a pub that is serves food, drinks, and has live music. Well one my friends little brother and his wife brought their 2 yr old little girl, and we could not sit in the room with the band. I was so not excepting that because no one mentioned they were coming much less bringing their kid. Anyways, I never realized how much I changed until I got around my old friends whom have not changed at all besides getting a little older and gained some weight. The whole evening they kept making little comments about how I dressed, have a designer purse, lots of real jewerly, get my nails done, and etc. I felt really out of place with them and bored. I guess I just lead a different kind of lifestyle then they did after highschool. Has anyone else been in this situation? |

| i've only been out of highschool 5 years (wow.. i can't believe it has been that long) and i feel what you feel... some people (especially the people who stayed in our small home town to go to college) haven't changed.. they still have their same highschool friends (nothing wrong with that) and their same highschool problems... they havne't grown up.. it's hard to get together with those ones because we just dont' have anything in common anymore.. i feel like we are worlds apart.. and it's sad because at one time we were everything to eachother.. but sometimes it's good to see these people again to help remind you that you are happy where you are in life. |

My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | Oh yeah, deffinatley. I see people from school who are "younger" than me and they look 20 years older! I think it has to do with the lifestyle as well. But I follow the trends. Shoot, I shop at the same stores my 13 year old neice does! But thats what I like ! |
