Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Oh man - SO SAD ! I don't know how many people listen to R&B but Gerald Levert....son of Ojay's Eddie Lavert ...DIED at only 40 years old ?? http://www.cnn.com/2006/SHOWBIZ/Musi...ert/index.html I've seen him in concert twice and his voice and singing style were SO much like his dad it was unreal - I would go again he was that good......he... Johnny Gill and Keith Sweat made an awesome trio back in the day... What a sad thing to happen at such a young age...we're losing the BIG voices of R&B music it seems ....the new singers just don't have what old style R&B had..... |

| How sad! 40 years old and dies of a heart attack leaving 4 children behind. Such talent, too. |

In a perfect world everyone would die of natural causes. Just fall asleep and never wake up. My grandfather was just about 7 - 10 days from his 87th bday when he died in May. Wasn't sick, was doing what he loved doing on his tractor.

Karen White was awesome and I wish she was still singing - and Bobbie Brown was UNREAL ! That was my favorite concert ever- - my boyfriend surprised me with a Limo and we took my boys out cruising before the concert - then took the limo driver out AFTER the concert to this club and got him so toasted he didn't get the car back till after 5am - WHAT A NIGHT that was lol ! | |
