| I am so sorry. It's bad enough when it can be replaced at a price. When things like this happen I just try to count my blessings - like you've made it 10 years and survived the outrageous divorce rate - your home wasn't hit by a hurricane or a flood and all your memories destroyed, etc. It always helps me to realize there are others hurting worse than I and I am blessed each and every day no matter what happens. |

| I wasn't implying that you were being whiney at all, hope I didn't come off that way - I would feel the same way and I, too, would cry, but then I would think about others and since you can't do anything about it, not continue to stress over it - ya know, what's done is done. |

| I know how you feel. It was around 6 years after we were marries and we lived in a bi-level I had out buffet against the railing going down the stairs. In the middle I had a glass frame with our wedding pictures and the 2 glasses we toasted from. Friends of our were over and we had a collie mix that loved to play catch. He threw the ball to her and it hitone of the glasses and glass frame and the bounced and klnocked over the other one. He felt terrible and promised he would replace them but I told him to forget it. it just wounldn't be the same. On a positive note, it didn't jinks the marriage, we'll be celebrating 22 years in a couple of weeks.
