| Pete is beautiful. Are you going to teach him to talk? I takes time but it is alot of fun. Sometimes they pick up things on their own. They are incredibly intelligent. Have fun with him, and keep his wings clipped and on a leash if you take him outside.

| I raise parrotlets (world's smallest parrot) and all my Yorkies do really well with them. A warning about sleeping with your bird - Unfortunately, I learned the hard way and since I've been raising birds for a long time I should have known better. Since birds fly their bones are hollow and very easily broken. I had one sleeping cuddled in my neck and I reached to answer a telephone and he had recently eaten and it was just enough pressure to aspirate him and he died immediately. |

My yorkies want to play with him and Pete does not want too at all. they will walk on floor together and I almost have Pete sitting on Sissy back (very short time though) a long way to go yet. but every little sec is a hip hip horray for us all
