| I lost my Lexie today Ok this is a little off yorkie topic but anyways. I have a white inside can we live in the country nothjing around but the wild critters. My hubby came home and said Is lexie out? I thought I heard her meow. I freaked out We looked all in the house and came to the conclusion she escaped. we looked EVERYWHERE for her today for hours. I was so upset thinking if shes not home by dark forget it. We have so many bob cat and cyotes ect she wont make it overnight. (declawed) after hours of being upset positive I will never see my cat again. here she come like nothing ever happened out of another room !!!! Not even outside. I was so upset my husband was goinbg to come home from work. and the little witch (jkdn) was hiding. I was soooo happy to see her. I love that cat like you wouldnt believe. Anyway I guess theres no real point to this story but I haapy now I think its these little things that make you appreciate your animals.

| LOL, what a relief...the little vixen! I was so afraid it was bad news. It's nice to know that your story had a happy ending.

| I'm so glad you found your cat! Now that all's okay, it's kind of funny how she was inside the whole time. I can think of times when I was frantic thinking Maddie had gotten outside and she was inside the whole time. Once, when she was a puppy, I couldn't find her and she was in the cubboard under the bathroom counter where I kept the towels. She'd jumped in there and I didn't know it! Crazy little critters!

| UGH, my animals have done that to me before! Sometimes it's a mystery where they've been hiding, b/c we've looked EVERYwhere! Glad she "came home"!

| Yikes! The same thing happens to me all the time. We have a big dog in the yard behind us. Just today, my brother said, Wheres Bailey? and we all were yelling for her. She ended up being in Shrek, the big dog's yard. I swear she is in love with Shrek.

Our Blessings R Many Donating Member | This reminds me of when I helped our elderly friends move a few years back, their cat came up missing and after searching through out the new apt. I searched all over the neighbor hood out calling kitty kitty Max, finally gave up and went back and continued putting things away when I opened the bottom cabnet in the bathroom, out jumped Max oh, what a happy sight that was, little stinker. Guess he didn't like the new apt. because he kept hiding but he has finally settled in for them |

| My parents actually did lose their cat this way. She was also declawed & somehow escaped outside, never to be seen again. My parents live kind of in the country, so no one knows what happened to her. One thing for sure is that someone did not get her because she was literally a scaredy-cat and didn't like people.
