| hmmmm, Never had heartburn????? Well you might not, but then again you might want to hear this, but the last time I had heartburn, I found out our Second son was on his way. Yep, only time I ever had it was being pregnant. Now my husband has it all the time, he takes tums or something like that. But if there's any way you are like me, I'd check with a doctor before you take anything. Hope you feel better soon.

| i was extremely afraid of that! see i had my red dot 2 weeks ago, last week one breast was sore then that stoped that my lower back hurt, that stopped and now the heart burn, my moms thins the same thing. i took one test this weekend, it was negative, but probably to soon to tell. i really dont want another, to be honest i had a terrible pregnancy in and out of the hospital, precalmysia (spelling ???) the baby was 2 months early. and to be honest i am really selfish!!! i have no patience when it come to kids. when i was preg. the first time, i was extremely tired, i would fall asleep in a tow truck while loading (if anyone has ever been in a tow truck while loading you would understand how most would find that differcult) i would have thought to have the same things happen. |

| A home remedy that works to cure heartburn is take a tablespoon of vinegar. I know sounds weird but it really works or at least it did for me. |

| I used to have heartburn that would make me feel like I was having a heart attack. To the point where I went to a cardiologist and he said come back in 60 years when something may be wrong because right now it's heart burn LOL. I totally feel what you are going through I really had to examine my diet (or lack there LOL) and figure out what I needed to cut out. I also had to see where I could cut out some stress (my old job) in my life as well. In the meantime I would keep mylanta close by it worked the best for me. Oh and Helens home remedy of vinegar works too it breaks up the acid that caused heartburn

| I was about 23 or so when it was really bad. I think it's most stress related because I got another job and haven't had those issues since. I get heartburn occassionally now but I can relate it to something I ate.

| Try some digestive enzymes from your health food store or vitamin shop. They might help you out if you are having some problems digesting your food...a source of heartburn.

| I've been taking nexium for about 2 years. One day I just had it and I don't don't even have any kids! I waited a few weeks, popped some tums, and then it got so bad that when I would eat anything I would get it almost immediately. It was weird. Then the doc put me on it, and it works like a charm!
