| Wow you saved a lot! The only time I used coupons is when the kids were in school. They had to cut paper, so I had them cut them out. Hmmm, then they asked me if I was going to use them, so I did. LOL, I had this plan. I would wait and see how much my bill was, write out my check, then hand over the coupons. LOL Off to the mall I went. LOL I don't use them any more, it takes up too much of my time, and I use an ATM card, not checks, but with the prices of gas going up maybe I should try and use them, not as much fun stopping for gas instead of the mall. I'll have to come up with plan B! Glad things worked out for ya!

| Not in your area??? Super Shucks! They cover most of the larger Stores.. Its the Coupons out of your local Sunday Papers... I get so excited Saturday night!! i even get up early Sunday morning cause I wast to get a head start on cutting them out!!! It only takes me 15 to 45 minutes to cut them out... Depending if I am focused or BSing with Hubby And it takes me 2 minutes to sign on and Print the list from the websight.... and then another 15 minutes to decide what I want to buy and pull the coresponding coupons.... then its off to the store to snap up all of the deals!! I have found that a TON of people do this!!! The sales that give you the best savings when paired with your coupons run Sun - Tues..... If I wait till Tues to do my shopping... half of the items on my list are SOLD OUT! So now I go late on Sunday or early on Monday! I have become a bit obsessive, but with all the money I am saving, I can justify a big purchace real soon with hubby!!! But honey... Look at my running total in Coupon Savings!!! I have saved us $1364.29 Surely I can find a Yorkie for that much somewhere!! Or if I wait a few more weeks I'll have even more!!! Its like my own little savings account! Not really, but he can't argue that I am saving some serious cash for the family and I will more than deserve a big reward real soon!!

| I have a lot of experience with coupons.... I cut them out, put them in my purse or car, and then throw them out when they expire!! I thought I was doing good lately since I've actually started looking at the weekly flyer on-line before I shop.

| OK Larissa... Your going to so love this!! Cause even a Dope-a-Max like me can do it!!! The list is a no brainer, I don't have to look up any specials, I don't have to find any specials, thats why I subscribe to the list!! They do it for me!!!.... its called Terry's list, you get it at www.thegrocerygame.com .... it comes out every Sunday... Its compiled weekly based on your local stores, in store sales and the coupons that are in that weekends paper and the coupons that have come out the weeks before! Its good for shopping from Sun to Tues. So.... You Clip EVERY SINGLE COUPON! in the paper!!!!! Dont throw any away! Even if you think you'll never need Maxi pads! (I use Tampons! ) Save the coupon anyway! And file them! I use a Cancled Check file... Its divided into 13 slots... it cost 4 bucks at target.... The KEY to the Grocery Game is the fact that you have years of experiance and databases making decisions on when you should PLAY your coupons! You only want to PLAY your coupon when the price of an item is at ROCK BOTTOM!! and you will get the Best deal!!! You have to trust the list!! Don't be tricked into using your coupon too soon on FALSE SALES!! Little sales that lure you into using your coupon too soon! Resist the urge to stray from the list! It will take you a few weeks to build your coupon collection... at first you will only have coupons for some of the items on the list... but after a few weeks you'll have almost all of them... and this weeks coupons are in all CAPS! so you'll know for sure you have those! So you have your list! just decide which items you want on that list..... and pull out the coupons for those items.... and off to the store you go! Remember I said to save those Maxi Pad coupons?? well its a good thing you did! they are normally $5.95 a package but they are on sale for $2.99 right now and you have a coupon for $1.00 off! and your shopping at a store that doubles coupons! so thats $2.00 off! so your paying only .99 for your Package of Maxi Pads! (so your thinking.... But I don't use Maxipads??? Your right, I don't... but my daughter is 10 and she will very soon!) ROTFL! And coupons run in cycles... 12 weeks... every 12 weeks there is a run of paper products, condiments, canned foods, frozen foods, health and beauty, bla bla bla... so you stockpile enough to carry you 12 weeks at super LOW prices and you are set! Then you are just buying your fruit veggies meant bread and milk on a need basis.... Its so working for me!!

I jsut looked it up. It depends on how many store lists you sign up for. It's $10 for the forst and $5 for the second. It is billed every 8 weeks.

| I signed up! Thank you so much for this post, I just signed up (using your email as a reference)....I figure I'll try it for the 4 weeks and see what I think. Maybe this will help me get more organized with my coupons. I clip them, but procrastinate on using them because I just feel overwhelmed. The only bad thing is that since I'm in a small town, I'll only have one store to choose from (HEB) that is 30 minutes away from my house, but if it's worth it, I don't mind the trip!
