Donating YT 14K Club Member | SCARY! One of my neighbors was murdered this week! Wednesday, my hubby took my daughter over to a friend's house to stay the night. On the street behind ours, there were 3 cop cars. Yesterday, I went to pick up the girls and drove on that street and there were 3 news vehicles there including one from San Antonio. Of course being nosy like I am, I started buring up the phone lines. Turned out that this woman that lives 3 houses and across the street from where I live was reported missing on Tuesday when she didn't show up for work...a CPS worker. Her vehicle was in her garage with the keys. Hubby (works for Sheriff's department) said that they found a woman's purse in the woods with blood and hair on it. Well, they found her body last night! I told hubby, that's just a little too close for comfort. Also, we live in a nice neighborhood...between Bell Tower estated and Colony Creek Country Club. Will have to burn up the phone lines again and see if there has been any new developments. Here's an article in our paper on it... The Victoria Advocate Here's a map of how close she lived...

| That is awful! The hubby did it! Well, try telling yourself that the killer either knew her, which is usually the case, or won't come back to get anyone else in THAT neighborhood, so you are probably safe! Seriously, I would freak if it was me. We had a woman raped on our street a few years ago and it totally freaked me out.

Donating YT 14K Club Member | Well, I talked to Paula and she hadn't even heard about it...will have to make some more phone calls. I'm sure that it's work related. Last night, son left one of his dinosaurs in the back yard. I wouldn't even let him go back there to get it. Not until the killer is found.

| That is scary. I don't blame you for not going outside to get the toy either. I would make sure I kept my doors locked. Keep us updated and stay safe.

Donating YT 14K Club Member | UPDATe!!!!!!! UNofficially, they have a suspect although not publically named yet. Benefits to a hubby that works at the Sheriff's dpt. Supposedly, a retired captain from the S.O. was obsessed with her and he's the one that did it. Why is he suspected????? They used dogs in the woods that tracked from her body back to his house that was 200 yards away from where she was found. Coincidence???? I think not. They are currently investigating him although no formal charges have been filed.
