| chicken pox help ok my husband had chicken pox when he was 17. well here it is 10 years later and he has chicken pox again. anyone have any ideas to make him feel better? he does not have shingles thankgod but it does have all of us worried.last time he had chicken pox he was in the hospital and his eyes were damaged. thankgod myself my girls and the puppy don't have it. all ideas help |

| Oh wow, I didn't know you could get it as an adult. I always thought it was shingles if you had chicken pox before... That's good to know... I had it when I was like 10. All I remember was getting an oatmeal bath every night. Avoid aspirin and drink lots of water... Good luck |

| I haven't had the chicken pox yet, but when I was pregnant with my children they said it can be much worse if you get it as an adult. I'd just watch him really closely (which I'm sure you are doing) and try to make him as comfortable as possible. I hope he gets well soon.

| Contact your doctor immediately if he has just started with them. They can prescribe zovirex (sp?) or other meds that are similar to help him have a less severe case.
