| Need some recipes please Ok, I'm a total retard in the kitchen. The joke is that I can burn water, but I can order well and could tell you were every fast food joint is. It's sad. Hard part is my kids will not eat the same foods for the most part. I end up making 2 different dinners. At one point, since they are 14 & 16, I said you make your own if you don't like what I made, but then I feel guilty. I'm looking for some easy and quick recipes. I am so tired of open the box and eat (my kids favorite). Ug.... Also must be within a budget, nothing too extraordinary. Thanks. |

| I HATE to cook. I can do it but try to avoid it at all costs. Do you have a fax machine? I can fax you some decent, easy recipes.

| I have a cookbook my mom bought me when I went to college called Where's Mom Now That I Need Her. It is full of quick easy recipes. Might want to do a google search for it or look on ebay. I use it all the time.

LOL I got it as a wedding gift. I don't think I've ever used it (18 years ago!!!) I even took it in the divorce. I'll have to check it out. Taco's and spaghetti are wearing out. Last edited by Tiggerwit; 03-13-2006 at 09:31 PM. | |

My mom never cooked so I never learned how to cook.... well one day (when I was like 18yrs. old) my mom told me she was going to show me how to cook spaghetti.... I thought she was going to tell me some family sauce recipe for the spaghetti....... NO WAY - She had me put the noodles in a pot and then brown some meat and put in a can of ragu sauce.... I about LMAO.. Anyone can figure that out. But she really thought she was teaching me how to cook something. Crystal

| I was so hungry one day for lunch and didnt really have anything so I came across this really easy and yummy recipe that I love! Brown hamburger meat, meanwhile boil egg noodles until done. When hamburger is browned drain the grease and add one can of cream of mushroom soup and velveeta cheese. I just use one of those small blocks of velveeta not sure what size. Pour the sauce over the noodles! Very easy and very good!
