| Yesterday I got Food Poisoning!!! So if this wasn't the "icing on the cake," I got food poisoning. I have already been sick for about a week with a sinus infection, swollen adnoids, and an ear infection. Well, last night we decided to order in Red Lobster. A little while after eating I had this dull pain/cramp right under the middle of my ribs, but it went away. THEN, at 5:30 this morning I woke up with the most unbearable pain/cramp I have ever had!! I went to the bathroom and...I'll let you guess the rest. I almost called 911 that's how bad the pain was, but I didn't. I went back onto my bed and stayed in the fetal possition with my fan (yes in dead of winter) blasting on my face b/c I was sweating like a pig! The stomach cramp finally started to get better. Oh, Baby was going crazy by the way. I shut off the lights and went to bed. I didn't go to work again today b/c I was afraid I would get sick again, but thank God I'm fine now. I always thought food poisoning lasted a while, but I read on the Internet that it all depends on the strain, and that it can come on in 1+hours, and be gone in 12 hours. Thank GOD! I can't take off work anymore!!! Well, thanks for letting me share.

| You poor thing! We order in most of our meals, but never seafood for just that reason. I worry because it can go bad so quickly. Try something gentle like rice, or soup or something now that you're settled a bit. Feel better!

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I'm glad your doing better. My sister can't eat cetain shellfish or she gets an allergic reaction much like what you described. It didn't bother her until she was in her late 20's.
