| This is not right I was into our local pet store about 3 months ago and saw the most darling shiht zus two of them. Now this store seems really up on keeping them clean groomed etc. but---------------------------I went in again yesterday and the same little pups are still there. They are asking 495.00 but have now reduced them to 400.00 They are so cute mostly white body and so fluffy with the cutest faces. I spoke up and said to the girl that ist was a shame to keep them in these cages for so long. She agreed and I asked what they do if they are not picked up soon by somebody. She said they either go back to the breeder or they reduce them again to be able to find homes. I'm thinking that it is possibly the fact that we just got over Christman and that is why, they are still there because they have to be the cutest shiht zus I seen. Question is surely goodness it is time to sent them back to breeder so they can at least be out of a cage. Thats all they know!! Can someone step in at this point and make them do that. Humane Society etc. |

| They would never spend the money to send them back to the breeder/broker and why would the broker take them back. This salesperson wants you to buy now. Try to be strong, there are most likely cuter ones close by from a breeder. Every pup you buy keeps a puppy mill in business a little longer. I know though, I fall in love with every shih tzu I see.

| Humane Society or other organizations can probably take the puppies if someone calls them probably. But I am not sure. But usually pet store puppies are from private breeders or from puppy mills, just sometimes. But that just isn't right for them to just continue to stay there. Poor things, I hpe they find good homes soon.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Those POOR BABIES all alone every night and weekend....and that "BREEDER" she mentioned is probably a puppy mill....so that can't be good at all for them... Maybe a call to the ASPCA will give you some direction ? Maybe tell them to TAKE the loss of PROFIT and reduce them NOW so they do find homes ? The sad thing is if someone buys them - then another puppy mill dog will replace them and that vicious circle continues.... I just despise Pet Stores ....it's just so despical that they can sell Dogs.... I know I said 2 different things - in my HEART I know we should NOT buy any dog from a pet store - but people are doing it everyday - so maybe those poor babies that have been there so long need loving homes.... then I kick myself and should be telling you to Walk away because we support Puppy mills when a pet store dog is bought....it's just AWFUL. |

| I asked the girl that takes care of them and she said they came from a breeder. Then again would you not think a breeder would be checking on them to see if they are gone by now. Poor little things they need TLC so bad can not imagine what they must be feeling. Then if one goes and leaves one there soooooo sad. |
