| Actors???? I'm not sure, I'm not very actor savvy. I don't watch TV and don't keep up with Hollywood. LOL But the movie was about a man in Anderson, SC who has some mental issues and is befriended by the highschool football coach. The man's name is James Kennedy but he is called RADIO because he loves radios. |

My husband and I attend a "Newlyweds" Sunday School class at my parents' church every Sunday. Our Sunday School teacher, Kenny Caldwell, is not only FROM Anderson, SC but he was ON the football team during the time that Radio was helping the team out. It's really fun to hear him tell the story. He said that they did a fairly accurate job with the movie but of course it was a wee bit exaggerated for the sake of movie-drama, entertainment, etc., but not much to be concerned about at all. Overall he was amazed! Kenny Caldwell is now the team doctor for The Citadel. Not that that has anything to do with anything but I thought I'd throw it in just to further "prove" I'm telling the truth if you wanted to look him up.

| I love that movie too and we have it on DVD. I've been to Anderson, SC several times because a friend of mine used to live there. It's a very heart touching movie

My family is from Greenville, which is close to Anderson. I was down visiting my mom when the movie was released, and the story was all over the local media while I was there. It is a true story...

| It's a very touching movie, I love the DVD....I get caught up in movies like that a lot. If I find out it's true or loosely based on a real person, I am doing research!! I'm nosey that way!
