| Found 2 little dogs beside the road.. Yesterday, my daughter and I were headed to KFC to pick up dinner, and I spotted 2 small doggies in the ditch ...We of course pulled over and one of them had been hit by a car, and the other was stuck in some briars..I got out of the car and wrapped up the one that had been hit, he was in BAD shape, and rescued the little black one from the briars...Sad to say the little brown one didn't make it..Not sure what we will do with the black one, but for now my daughter is in love and has decided she will name her Gracie....People are so cruel, and I am SURE that someone dropped this two little ones off...We live out in the country and people are always dumping out poor little ones..She appears to be lab and maybe cocker spaniel, judging by her ears..just wanted to share our adventure from yesterday....

Donating YT 500 Club Member | You're an angel for stopping and rescuing those sweet babies! My heart breaks for the pup that did not make it, but at least the last person the little brown one came in contact with was someone loving and kind. I'm glad you decided to keep Gracie!!! She is an absolute doll!! Is she a little puppy?

| What a sweet little bear face!! Gracie Bear? :-) I went to Pet Co. today and a lady was dropping off a darling lovebird - cage and all - she said she was going out of town and didn't have anyone to take care of it so she left it outside the pet store doors on the sidewalk!!!!! People just amaze me!!!?? Poor little bird. The girl that worked in the store brought it inside and said she would find it a home. I am going back tomorrow and if it is still there I'm gonna bring it home. I have worried about that little bird all afternoon!! Who knows, I might enjoy a bird....?? It just made me sad, who leaves a pet bird on a sidewalk and just walks away?? She didn't even leave it food...? Brother....... :-( |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | I have two birds, Gorgeous George a Cockatiel and Stormbird a budgie, they are funny and sweet. I can come home from work, get undressed and put my jammies on with George sitting on my head the whole time. When we first brought Alfie home the both came right up to him and preened him. Now Alfie tries to catch them, but he never will.
