| What is the best shampoo/conditioner for dry hair? Ladies, I am in a bit of a hair dilemma. My hair lately I am not sure why has gotten very ugly. It has lost all its shine and is just frizzy and matte. I have very fine yet curly hair. It has always been smooth until a few months ago. I have tried a couple of shampoo and conditioners but none seem to be really working. Can anyone recommend a good shampoo/conditioner that will help with my overly dry hair? Under $20 for both preferably.

| I tried that new Pantene Age Defy recently. I'm such a sucker for marketing! I really do like it though! I have long, thin, straight hair - but my son uses it too & his hair is more coarse and has some wave to it. It left my hair silky & really helped with the frizz. Another product I like is Nexxus Emergencee. I use it the night before I get my color done. It's a good every-once-in-a-while deep conditioner. It's kind of hard to work through my hair though. So after I shampoo, I apply the Emergencee. Then I put a little water in my hair & then I use conditioner on top of the Emergencee. I leave it in for about 5-10 minutes & rinse.

| oh man... I have very curly hair.... extremely!! I can tell you if you can invest a bit more $$ now it will be worth it. Get the Keratin express treatment. Its about $40-$50 around here, it lasts 2-3 months and will get rid of the dryness. Its crazy how good it works. For me, it tones down my bulky curls and gets rid of frizziness completely. I use purology shampoo and conditioner which is costly but it is sulfate free so the Keratin lasts longer. L'oreal makes a sulfate free shampoo and conditioner also thats cheaper, about $6 a bottle. Believe it or not, you want a sulfate free shampoo and then any conditioner would work better.

| Get a hair cut to get rid of some of the unhealthy hair then wash and abuse your hair less Easier said than done though! Sulfate free shampoos are pretty good too.

| Try Argan Oil. It really does wonders.
