| Well, of course!!!!!!!! I have a Rich Plan Freezer that is HUGE..... my parents bought this gentle giant when my brother was born, June 1955. This thing runs like a top, flawlessly for ALL these years! So, tonight, when my son goes to the garage to get the ham and the ground chuck out to thaw for tomorrow, THE HANDLE ON THE DOOR BROKE OFF!!!!!! ALL MY MEAT I NEED FOR MY MEAL PREPARATION FOR THANKSGIVING, IS IN THAT FREEZER!!!!!! So.....rather than get all upset, it just was not in the cards for me to cook tomorrow.......so I am actually Thankful the handle broke off.......I guess.....I am going to take a hot bath, sip some Butterscotch Schnaaps, and figure this out..... |

| Our electronic devices are programmed to malfunction, break or die on holidays or other very important occasions, no exceptions. Some do mess up, though, and go at other times but the plan is to break or go out big so that the frustrated owner will rush to buy a new one rather than chance a similar occurence any time soon at another vital moment in life when the dang thing is most needed. I am certain of this fact. Enjoy your Schnapps and go ahead and face what you have to do.

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | It is always the way. Things break when something important is happening. I hope you enjoyed your bath and schnapps. I would guess you figured out what you were going to do instead. Have a great Thanksgiving

| I just kept telling myself it was some kind of blessing in disguise....and I found 2 bags of shrimp in the freezer in the house....so I boiled up a pot of shrimp boil and dumped them in, with some new potatoes and a bag of mini corn on the cob~! |

Though I'm thoroughly convinced our electronics and appliances totally own us - and to keep us completely humble and pliant, plot evil against us fairly frequently, occasionally the human can find a way through the smokescreen of despair they fire off at the most inopportune times and find a way to briefly prevail. Hooray!!! Humans win one!!!

My sister used to have such old sliding glass doors that when the lock broke, there was no replacement still being made and she had to have a guy in to engineer a lock for her. He did a good job and it was only like $78.00 and that was less than 2 years ago. But she never gets charged very much for anything - I don't know how she sails through a home service call and out the other side without paying a ransom but she does. But something else happened to the door unit later and she finally did have to have it replaced last year. Hope your contractor guy can help you out - he probably can. Guys have such a way of knowing just what to do to fix things like that!
