| It is like that here too and some of our not to bright neighbors were shooting fireworks last night!! It takes your breath to walk outside for a minute. We desperately need rain.

| Oh, yes! We went through it last summer and now we have a repeat performance! I wouldn't have believed it could happen two years in a row. Unbelievable. There is a burn ban here. They are allowing fireworks and barbecue grills on July 4th only. I hope they don't start any fires! Rain dance! I'm getting really good at the rain dance. It just isn't working for some reason! In fact, I have water going as I type this. Daily, until they stop us from watering.

| Chachi...don't you have some weather heading your way now? I had TWC on a little bit ago and I thought the rain/storms were heading into Indiana from Northern Illinois. We had a good downpour a couple nights ago but we could still use some more. It seems the weather heads our direction and then splits to the north and south of us. I'm not crazy about storms but even I would appreciate a good one right about now! |

| Oh I hate drouths!! I feel so bad for the plants and wildlife too. In this part of Florida we are either in water restrictions due to drouth or in monsoons.. lately it has been more monsoons Wish I could send some to yall!! I agree .. it is crazy to have fire works when it is that dry. I sure hope no one does something stupid that everyone has to pay for!!!

Donating YT 30K Club Member | We are in a terrible drought. I have had one light rain in the last 2-3 weeks. We miss all the rain lately. I have lost all my annuals and some perennials. We have water restrictions in our town and I seem to miss my day and time. I'm going to try and water tonight. A lot of towns here have cancelled their fireworks but I know some people will still set off their own and that is so dangerous.

The storm we got a couple nights ago was a big one though...lots of rain, lightening and wind but evidently not enough rain because it seems like things are still dry and the corn leaves are all reaching straight up like they are begging for rain! | |

But then we got good rain over the late winter & this spring & our lakes are back to normal except for one. This rain might finish getting that one back up. It's a year to year thing, isn't it. I pray you all get some good rain when this weather pattern moves on!

| We are facing the same problem here too. Temps up to 106 degrees and no rain. My pond is almost dry. It is so hot and dry that fires pop up. Last week in one day there were 10 grass fires. The poor firemen have been very busy. I have been wetting my lawn the last few days as I too have a neighbor who likes to shoot fireworks. We also have a ban but that doesn't always stop people. Praying for rain for all that need it.
