| Opinions on chiropractic medicine... I'm having some very bad pains in my back and left hip. I'm going to the chiropractor tomorrow to see if she can help it. I just wanted opinions about chiropractic medicine. This office uses the activator method and I'm sure can treat pregnant women. Is this something you would do? Thanks, added: She is the one that does VOM for dogs too and saved my Sadie from LP surgery by using laser therapy and activator methods on her knees. |

| I would clear it with your OB before going to the appointment.

| I think chiropractic care, especially for back issues, is a very good idea. My granddaughter (15) is a volleyball player with lots of back pain. She started going to a sports chiropractor and she no longer plays in pain. Research has shown that chiorpractic care for low back pain is more effective than conventional care. Everyone in my family (except the 4 year old) has gone or does go to the chiropractor. If it's OK with your OB, I'd definitely go.

| I have had problems with my back and neck for years. I am a fan of chiropractic care. Before my two kids I had two miscarriages. Come to find out, my pelvic was misaligned. I started chiropractic treatment and was able to carry both of my boys. May have been just a coincidence; however, I believe it was from my chiropractic care. I would check with your OB just to be sure.

| I hurt my back a few years ago and went to a chiropractor for a few months. My initial xray showed a huge bend in my spine from where I had fallen and going helped so much. My guy also went to a chiropractor for a while to help with his migraines and it worked wonders.

| I have issues with my SI joints from time to time, and going to the chiropractor always helps. I have gone to the chiro while pregnant and it was fine. I was about 16 weeks pregnant (with SI joint issues), I think. It really helped. |

| I would not choose this style of medicine for myself or my pups at this time. Unless some new info comes out about it, I'm fairly certain this is not an avenue I'd ever be willing to take.
